GIS Data Various GIS data sets are available on the Nelson MSRM FTP site. We also have an Incoming FTP, which allows outside parties to supply data to MSRM. The corporate data that is posted on the outgoing FTP site is uploaded every night, to ensure currency. HLP and RMAC data are only reposted when officially updated by cabinet. The misc directory is subject to change and is cleaned out at the end of every week. For a complete list of GIS data at the Kootenay Region MSRM office see our Data Dictionary, Any data in the Dictionary not posted to the FTP site must be requested through the regional GIS Coordinator.
